The New Carlisle Market wishes everyone a pleasant market experience.
Please read the following rules carefully.
Fees
Weekly Vendor Fee: $10.00 each Saturday. Payable prior to each week's market.
Season Pass: $100.00 A season pass will also insure the same location throughout the market season.
Booth Spaces
Booth spaces are approximately 10 feet by 10 feet. Season Pass booth spaces are approximately 15 feet by 15 feet and are located at the same spot each week if desired. Tents are advised and must be weighted at each corner. Tent stakes are not permitted! (Tear down is not permitted until 1 pm).
Parking
Parking is available in the Memorial Park parking lot.
Weather
Rain Dates: The market will run RAIN or SHINE! In the event of severe weather, the farmers market may close. This will be on a case by case basis and will be monitored by the market manager. Severe weather communications will be via phone/text, or face to face. We will strive to give as much warning ahead of time for everyone's safety. If the market is cancelled due to severe weather, booth fees will be carried over to another day or next season.
Farmers, Growers, Gardeners
This includes vendors who sell products that are grown or raised by vendors in the Michiana area. All products must be grown, raised, produced, or prepared by the seller.
Acceptable products include the following:
    • Maple Syrup
    • Vegetables grown from seeds, seedlings, or sets.
    • Fruits, berries, or nuts grown on trees, bushes, or vines.
    • Plants grown from seed, seedling, or transplant.
    • Eggs
    • Honey
    • Fresh baked home goods All ingredients must be labeled and ideally locally sourced and sustainable.
    • Fresh cut flowers, and plants
Non-Acceptable Products
    • Carnival foods (cotton candy, sno-cones, fried foods, etc.)
    • Commercially processed foods
    • Commercially made beverages
    • Alcoholic beverages
    • Products containing THC, or CBD
Home Based Vendors
Prepared Foods
    • All foods must be prepared in a kitchen certified by either the Health Department in the county in
       which it was prepared OR in your own kitchen as permitted by the St. Joseph County Heath
       Department or the county in which you reside.
    • All products must be made by you or your staff. (ie: from scratch)
Bath & Body Products
    • Bath & Body products ideally incorporate local and sustainable materials. (ie. palm based oil products)
Art & Craft Products
    • The seller must create, make, produce, upcycle all products.
    • Resold items are not allowed. (ie. vintage clothing, jewely, etc.).
    • Antiques are not allowed.

Municipal Park
Booth Layout
Vendors may request any booth space on a first come first served basis. All booth spaces will kept together as they fill in. Booth spaces are approximately ten feet by ten feet. Vendors may request additional space at no additional cost.
